‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. HAPPY BIRTHDAY.. BA BA BA BA, BIR BIR BIR, BABABA BIR BIR, BURP BURP BURP, BOO BOO, BAABAA BIRTHDAY TOOO.. TOOOOO.. shh softer.. kyuri.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!’ the four crazy girls shouted at Kyuri when the clock stroke 12 on 1st March.

They were celebrating their close friend’s birthday. Kyuri worked as the clothes coordinator for Cube Entertainment and was close to all the Cube staff and entertainers.

Everyone took turns to take out their presents for Kyuri. ‘Uhh.. the Kyu doesn’t look like.. Kyu.. But it’s nice!! I <3 it!!!!’ Hyeyeon got ready to strangle Kyuri ‘ HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?!!! I PUT IN SO MUCH EFFORT TO DRAW IT!!!’ They got into one of their usual catfights.

Just then, Sooyeon squeaked,’ OOO!!! What’s this?? Ohh it’s from our friend Sam!! Let’s open it.’ Sooyeon carried a gigantic box to the living room. ‘FROM MY LOVER!!! WOW SO BIG ^^’ Kyuri opened the box and squeaked,’ OMG IT’S SO SQUASHY!!!’ She immediately hugged it and sat on the sofa, taking out her cellphone to call her lover.

‘Hello? Sam? I REALLY LOVE THE SQUASHY RABBIT!!!! Thanks so much!! You’re the best lover ever~!!! Muakz muakz!’ Hyung Eun flapped one of the rabbits ears and mumbled,’ Let’s call it Squashy.’ Kyuri went berserk. She started talking to Squashy.

‘Hello Squashy. Welcome to this world, I’m your mummy, and Sam is your.. mummy. I think.. Anyway, I love you. Can you hear me??’ She lifted Squashy’s ears and said directly into them,’ I love yoooooohhh.’ Then she kissed Squashy.

Tae Eun felt something land on her arm. ‘Gahhhhh!!! Kyuri!!!! SQUASHY IS BALDING AFTER BIRTH!!!!! Her fur landed on my arm.’ She scratched furiously. ‘OOO ‘Cruel Temptations Of A Wife’ is on now. Let’s watch it. I’ll go bring Kyuri’s seaweed soup out’.

While bringing the soup out, Hyeyeon switched on the television. While walking to the kitchen to help Tae Eun, she passed by Tae Eun’s wallet. Curious, she opened it and tried to burn Tae Eun’s neoprints with her eyes.

As Tae Eun walked pass, Hyeyeon asked,’ Tae Eun-ah, who’s this?’

‘It’s makeup onni. Can’t you recognise?!’

While Tae Eun put the soup on the table, Hyeyeon burst into fits of laughter. She laughed till her whole face turned red and her eyes watered. ‘I was thinking.. is that Tae Eun’s friend.. or issit.. makeup onni..? … … … HAHAHAHHAHA’ Looking at Hyeyeon laugh like that made the rest of the girls laugh a little too, but soon Tae Eun shushed Hyeyeon,’ Shhh, it’s starting.’

While watching a sad scene, Tae Eun and Hyeyeon’s eyes started to water. Kyuri totally ruined the moment by saying,’ Why you cry? You need tissue? You cannot cry, today is my birthday. BE HAPPY(:’ Sooyeon started laughing at her,’ Hahahaha, you ruin the scene, Kyuri!!!’ While talking and laughing animatedly, Sooyeon’s long hair brushed Tae Eun’s face.

‘SOOYEON AHHH. YOUR HAIR.’ The irritated magnae started spitting furiously. Laughing airily, Sooyeon replied,’ Heh, sorry.’

‘I’M GONNA LICK YOUR FACE!!!’

‘I’M GONNA FART IN YOUR FACE. Have peach smell de lehh~’

Kyuri, who was eating her seaweed soup, looked disgusted,’ EWWWW. Later hor..’ Before she could finish her sentence, Sooyeon and Tae Eun burst out laughing. Hyeyeon and Hyung Eun said,’ What what??’ Tae Eun whispered in Hyeyeon’s ear and Sooyeon laughed into Hyung Eun’s ear and before long, Hyeyeon burst out into crazy fits of laughter again.

Hyung Eun laughed,’ Tae Eun-ah, can you please tell me what you are laughing at? All Sooyeon said into my ear was,’ HHAHA’ times hundred. And some nonsensical mumbling which I can’t decipher a word out of.’ Sooyeon laughed harder.

With a seaweed on her cheek and another one on her nose, Kyuri asked,’ What.. what are you laughing at? Why you laughing.. Tell me please..’ Tae Eun replied,’ Look in the mirror. What nice makeup you have. HAHAHAHA’

Kyuri ran to the mirror beside their door and said,’ Oh no! I’m Seaweed Face!’ Just then, their door opened. Only their manager Onni and the 4minute Onnis and Beast Oppas knew their combination. The person who walked in was Doojoon. Bad news was, he was holding a camera.

Muttering absent mindedly to Doojoon, Yoseob asked,’Where’s the birthday girl..’ Without looking properly, Doojoon said,’ Over there.’ And before the girls knew it, Doojoon snapped a picture of the birthday girl. The Beast Oppas started laughing crazily and knowing something was up, Sooyeon, Hyeyeon, Hyung Eun and Tae Eun sprinted over. ‘What what what lemme see!!’ And then they collapsed onto the floor from laughing too hard.

Kyuri’s expression in the picture was one of PURE shock, and decorated prettily with seaweed. Laughing happily, the Beast Oppas wished Kyuri and happy birthday and laughed throughout the morning.

‘Oh goodness… the smell of da food! Da arrrrrromaa!! Delicious!!!’ said Tae Eun, flaring her nostrils as she sniffed the air. As usual, she was trying to do her usual gag – accents. This time she was trying to imitate an Italian. Hyeyeon started cracking up, and so did Sooyeon. ‘What are you laughing at?’ Tae Eun asked, wondering if they were laughing at her accent or something stuck on her face that she didn’t know about.

Hyeyeon opened her mouth to answer, but as soon as she breathed in, she started cracking up again. Sooyeon went on to mumble,’You.. You look like JuNG… Jung… JU.. Ju RIIIIIIIIIII HAHAHAHA!!! Your nose!!’ She clapped a few times. Hyeyeon started laughing even harder and high fived Sooyeon.

Banging her head on the table, Tae Eun moaned,’ Nooooo!! Don’t call me Jung Juri!!’ She slapped her forehead hard. All the banging and slapping resulted in a headache, and the ridiculous magnae held her head while mumbling,’Head hurts, head hurts… STOP LAUGHING ALREADY! I’ve got a headache!!’

That caused Sooyeon and Hyeyeon to crack up even more. Sooyeon’s laugh became asthmatic and silent, occasionally gasping, but mainly clapping while Hyeyeon just scrunched up her face and laughed silently. Tae Eun stared at them, thinking,’Whoa, Hyeyeonnie really looks like a kitty now,’ Just then, Hyeyeon snorted. Right in front of Tae Eun.

The entire table exploded with laughter. Hyeyeon laughing and blushing in embarrassment, the rest of them laughing at her snort. ‘Omg what did I do?? WHAT DID I DO?? Did I just snort?!! OMG!! I’m so embarrassed T.T ‘

‘It’s okay, I guess kitties do snort after all,’ replied Tae Eun with an evil smile. Hyeyeon glared. Tae Eun glared. However, the younger out of the two girls couldn’t take it anymore, the sight of the older girl snorting right in front of her face replayed over and over again. She burst out laughing, and not long after, a tear rolled down her cheek.

‘That’s her first tear after debut.’ said Hyung Eun seriously. Just then, Beast Sun-bae-nims walked into the restaurant. ‘What? What’s so funny?’ asked Jun Hyung, getting ready to laugh. Sooyeon clapped a few times and mumbled while laughing,’ Hyeyeon.. Hyeyeon.. she… shee… sn.. snnnoo.. AHAHAHAHA..’

Frustrated, Dong Woon asked Tae Eun the same question, resulting in Tae Eun put on her loudspeaker mode and announcing to the restaurant filled with Cube staff, booked by the company,’ HYEYEON JUST LAUGHED TILL SHE SNORTED. NOW WE KNOW, CATS DO SNORT. IT’S JUST BEEN PROVED. IF YOU WANT A REENACTMENT OF WHAT HAPPENED, PLAYED BY THE PERSON WHO SAW THE SNORT TAKE PLACE RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER FACE, PLEASE, JUST ASK ME. Thank you for your attention.’ Triumphantly, the magnae sat down opposite the glaring kitty.

4minute sun-bae-nims started complaining. Sohyun whined,’ Where’s our food? I’m so hungry… I could eat 2 bowls of rice.’ Hyung Eun stood up,’ Everybody, please raise your glasses. Uhh.. I’m so nervous. This is my first time doing this but I’m the leader so I have no choice. Thank you all for coming to our debut party. Thank you for helping us with our debut. Thank you for not giving up on us before our debut.. Oh my goodness my palms are sweaty already.. Uhh, thank you for.. making us sing and dance well and look pretty.’

Sooyeon whispered to Tae Eun,’ Oh no. She’s so nervous she forgot not to be naggy in her speech. I’m starving.’ Tae Eun looked at Sooyeon from the corner of her eye. We must remind her, then. When I count to three, clap loudly and cheer.’ The magnae counted softly,’ 1, 2, 3… WHOOOOOOOO!!! That was a FABULOUS FIRST SPEECH!!! I’M SURE YOU WILL IMPROVE MORE NEXT TIME!!’

Thinking it was really the end of the speech, everybody clapped along. ‘Bring out the food… FOOOD!!!’ Hyeyeon moaned. Tae Eun smiled evilly,’ ‘The kitty needs her milk. Bring out the milk!!’ With an absent minded look on her face, Sooyeon asked the waiter for a glass of milk. Eyes wide, Hyeyeon gasped,’ Sooyeon ah! How could you do that to me?!’ With her mouth slightly opened, Sooyeon stared at Hyeyeon. ‘Didn’t you want a glass of milk? I heard you say something, then I head Tae Eun say something about milk.’

Tae Eun rolled around in her chair( though she had not much space to do that O.O), her hand on her stomach, laughing. The waiter brought the milk over, causing Tae Eun to laugh ever harder. While trying to stand up and feed Hyeyeon with the milk, Tae Eun somehow lost her balance and fell off the chair. Hyeyeon laughed happily,’ REVENGE!!’

Sooyeon looked at her phone,’ Tae Eun ahh, I received this sms. It says… EHH?! Where is Tae Eunnie?’ She looked around. Tae Eun put her hands in the air and waved,’ I’m here!!’ Sooyeon looked around, turning her head more vigorously than before,’ Where? I hear you but I don’t see you!!’

‘Beside my chair, you dumdum!’ Tae Eun was still waving. ‘Where?… I don’t.. OHH!! What are you doing down there? Are you playing hide and seek?’ Laughing, Tae Eun replied,’ Nevermind.. OOO FOOD’S HERE! But Manager Onni, what’s for desert?’ She licked her lips, making slurpping sounds,’ Is it something YUMMY?’

‘It’s Banana Split. Yummy, right?’ Manager Onni smiled. Hyeyeon laughed crazily,’ OMG!! Revenge!! The monkey will eat banana!!! AHAHAHAH’ Tae Eun smacked her forehead again,’ Noooo! I’m not a monkey!! Bad kitty!!’ Hyung Eun said,’ If Tae Eun is a monkey and Hyeyeon is a cat, Sooyeon must be a chicken.’ Sooyeon’s eyes widened,’ Why??? Do I crow like a chicken??’

‘No, but occasionally you bob your head like a chicken.’

‘Head bobber.’

The 4 crazy girls laughed their way through dinner, enjoying their day.

‘Two, two, tlee POUR. YOU JUMP ON POUR, NOT LAND ON POUR. Let’s start again.’ The dance trainer began counting again. He was tutoring HyungEun and KiKwang, and being a typical korean, he couldn’t really count properly in english.

Just then, a muffled voice from the bench area exclaimed loudly,’ What’s that horrible counting? Two, two TLEE POUR, TLEE POUR TLEE POUR.. TLEE POUR SOMEMORE I’LL POUR SOME OF MY WATER OVER HIS HEAD AHH!!’ Everybody had eye expansions. The expanded eyes were all staring at the direction of where the voice was coming from – the bench.

Only two people were sitting on the bench, Hyeyeon and Tae Eun, who were both already learned their choreography. Hyeyeon’s eyes were closed, oblivous to the sudden commotion, listening to music. Tae Eun was scratching her head, yawning, still half asleep.

Looking around, realising that everyone was looking at her with their eye expansions, the words ‘ Why is everybody staring at me?’ were written clearly on her face. Hyung Eun, who stopped dancing, gasped loudly,’ Oh my gawd. DID SHE JUST SLEEP TALK?’ It was Tae Eun’s turn to had eye expansions. ‘What did I say?! WHAT DID I SAY?!’

Not able to hold her laughter any longer, SooYeon burst out laughing and clapping,’ You said,’ Tree pour water on his head AHAHAHAHA’ Gayoon burst out laughing too,’No! She said Sun-saeng-nim’s counting sucks!! HAHAHAHA not tree pour water or what nonsense.’ Everyone but Sun-saeng-nim and Tae Eun began laughing. Embarrassed and blushing, the dance trainer yelled,’YAHH!! What are you laughing at!! Continue!!!’

Hyung Eun and KiKwang obediently got into their positions again, and the music started, but the dance trainer’s counting didn’t. Staring at him intently, guessing why he wasn’t counting, Hyung Eun and KiKwang stifled their laughter.

‘What are you laughing at?! I’m not counting cause.. uhh..’ the dance trainer scratched his head sheepishly,’ cause I’ve got a sore throat!! A-hem!!’ He cleared his throat loudly,’ You count yourselves!!’

Mischievously, Tae Eun whispered to Sooyeon,’ Count yourselves.. HEHEHE. ONE. TWO. AHAHAHAHAH.’ All the 4minute and Beast members minus KiKwang plus Sooyeon and Tae Eun began cracking up at one corner of the dance studio, not because Tae Eun’s joke was very funny, but because they were in a laufy mood already.

Dance Trainer Sun-Saeng-nim walked over the the whole vibrating group, and cleared his throat loudly. Yoseob muttered under his breath,’Strepsil, sir?’ Clearing his throat again, he yelled, as usual,’ YAHH!! Sim Tae Eun! Come over here!!’ Worried that she was in trouble, Tae Eun slowly walked over, pulling SooYeon with her,’Yes, Sun-Saeng-Nim??’

In a very very soft voice, the dance trainer said sheepishly,’ Since you two are from Singapore, can you teach me how to pronounce ‘two’, ‘tlee’ and ‘pour’ properly?’ SooYeon started cracking up, but Tae Eun was having hearing problems. In a loud voice, she said,’ EHH?! Sun-Saeng-Nim, I think I  heard wrongly. I heard you asking me to teach you to count. What did you say?’ Her eyes opened wide.

The entire room burst out into laughter as the dance trainer blushed. Laughing, SooYeon patted his back,’ It’s okay, Sun-Saeng-Nim. We’re not laughing at your pronounciation, it’s just that the events happening are funny. It’s TWO, THREE, and FOUR.’

Tae Eun, who finally caught on the situation, took turns with SooYeon to train their trainer to count properly. Finally, he got it right, and it was HyunA and Tae Eun’s turn to practice again. At first, Sun-saeng-nim was counting weirdly,’ TWO TWO three four’ with the ‘two’s at his normal volume and his ‘three’s and ‘four’s very soft.

Not used to dancing without Sun-Saeng-Nim’s counting, Tae Eun kept missing the same beat over and over again, making Sun-Saeng-Nim very frustrated. ‘YOU TURN ON TLEE. NOT REMEMBER TO TURN ON TLEE’ HyunA smiled mischievously,’ Ehh?? What did you say??’

Confidently, the dance trainer replied,’ I said to turn on three! Let’s start again, TWO TWO THREE FOUR, THREE TWO THREE FOUR…’

‘Hurry, into the van!’

‘Yes Managaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-er Onni…’

Tae Eun yawned mid-sentence, causing Hyeyeon to crack up. When they reached Cube Entertainment building, they went into the dance studio, only to find it occupied by their seniors.

‘Ehh? I thought you were in the apartment?!’ Sooyeon’s eyes widened.

‘Yea, did you fly here?’ Tae Eun’s eyes widened too.

Sighing, Hyung Eun said,’ We’re having a combined performance with our seniors. Beast, 4minute, and FTNW.’

‘OMG REALLY?! So cool!!’ Hyeyeon’s eyes widened.

‘Why is everybody having eye expansions…’ Hyung Eun muttered to herself as she walked over the put her bag on the bench.

Looking at their dance trainer, Hyeyeon asked,’Then how are we pairing up?’

‘We’ll see about that. Hyung Eun might be doing a dance solo with Doojoon, or HyunA could be doing one with KiKwang.’

‘AIGOO. I WANT A DANCE SOLO WITH KIKWANG OPPA’  Tae Eun whined.

Everyone just laughed,including Kikwang. The Cube family were used to FTNW’s fangirling over Beast. It was like this ever since the first day they came as trainees.

Just then, 4minute arrived. HyunA ran over saying,’Tae Eun ahh, how about we do a dance solo together?’

‘Okay okay okay!!!! ‘ Tae Eun nodded. ‘How about Sooyeon Onni with HyunSeung Oppa, HyunA Onni and I, HyungEun Onni and KiKwang Oppa, DooJoon Oppa and Hyeyeonnie. How about that? ‘

Jihyun pouted,’ No fair!! What about the rest of us??’

Hyeyeon responded evilly,’No solo!!!! MUAHAHAHA!!!’

Jihyun walked over and started whacking Hyeyeon playfully. Laughing like a crazy woman, Hyeyeon begged,’ Please stop!! I’m so sorryyy hahhahaaah I’M SORRYYYYYYYYYY. Okay okay, seriously, the remaining 4minute Onnis and Beast Oppas can pair up.’

The dance trainer walked over,’Wow, now you all pair yourselves up without my consent! OH MY JOB IS OVER D:’

Being sweet as always, Jiyoon patted his back saying,’ Of course not, Sun-Saeng-Nim!! The final say goes to you!’ Satisfied, the dance trainer said to FTNW,’ See? You newbies should learn from your Sunbaes.’

With mischievous looks on their faces, Sooyeon and Tae Eun looked at each other, then stood up and began dancing to 4minute’s ‘What A Girl Wants’, with Tae Eun singing,’ Oh oh oh, baby, LA LA LA LA LAAAAAAA~~~’ KiKwang laughed,’ She sounds like elmo!!’ Sooyeon began clapping and laughing,’ YA YA!!! That’s what I thought when I first heard her singing it too!!! Hi-Five!!!’ She walked over and smacked KiKwang’s hand.

Hyung Eun smacked her forehead and muttered to herself again,’ When are we EVER going to start…’

‘Congrats on your debut!!!!’ Cube staff were repeating those words over and over again. Their new band, For The New World, also known as FTNW, or in korean, 새로운 세상, successfully debuted. However, it was also the day when the girls were supposed to move into their new dormitories.

The minute Tae Eun got into their minivan, she drifted into Lalaland. The last thing she felt was Sooyeon putting a neck pillow behind Tae Eun’s neck to support her head. Before she knew it, they were at the dormitory already. From the small eyes and dreamy expressions, it was obvious that Tae Eun was not the only one who fell asleep. After all, the girls didn’t catch a single wink of sleep the night before.

Dragging their luggages out of the boot, they slowly made their way to the eight floor. Everybody was wearing hoodies, except for Tae Eun who was wearing a hat which was covering 3/4 of her face. When they walked into their apartment, Tae Eun took of her hat and screamed. Sooyeon said,’ What what what issit?!’

Tae Eun shrieked,’ Onni!!! I’VE GOT A SERIOUS CASE OF HAT HAIR ): ‘ Sooyeon laughed at her and said,’ Cheh, I thought there was a cockroach or something.’ Their leader Hyung Eun shouted,’ Hey come over here!! Manager Onni needs to say something!’ Sooyeon and Tae Eun walked around in circles trying to find ‘here’ and shouted back,’Where are you?’

Hyung Eun sighed and said exasperatedly,’ 2nd floor, girls.’ Sooyeon and Tae Eun looked at each other and went,’ Ohhh!! There’s a second floor!’ Laughing, they climbed up the stairs.  They found Manager Onni and Hyeyeon and Hyung Eun standing outside a HUUUGE room. Hyung Eun immediately said,’ OOO I WANT THAT ROOM!!! How nice if I could have it all to myself.. ):’

Manager Onni said,’ Girls, I think it’s best if we put the 4 of your into this room two bunk beds on each side. What do you think?’ The girls shrugged and while Manager Onni was scribbling something in her notebook, Tae Eun raised her hand and said,’ OOO ooo, Onni!! Is there such a thing as a King-sized bunk bed?? If there is, let’s get those!!’ Manager Onni frowned and said,’ Okay, I’ll go check it out.’

‘Okay so who’s sleeping on top??’ asked Hyung Eun. ‘Mee mee mee meeeeeeee!!,’ said Sooyeon and Tae Eun. A few seconds later, Tae Eun regretted and said,’ But what if there are lizards on the ceiling?!!’ Manager Onni, still scribbling in her notebook, mumbled,’Don’t worry, we’ve put insect nets on the windows, which means no lizard or mosquito will come in, unless you leave the door open.’ Tae Eun and Hyeyeon held hands and turned around in circles,’ YAY YAY YAY INSECT FREEEEEEEEEE!!! (: ‘

Just then, the doorbell rang. ‘I’ll get it!!!’ exclaimed Sooyeon. She ran down the stairs and said,’ Uh-oh.. I forgot where the door is…’ Tae Eun laughed and said,’ Oh you blurhead! It’s over here…’ Running down the stairs, Tae Eun headed for a door and opened it saying triumphantly ,’ TA-DA!! I told you it’s here!!’ Sooyeon started laughing and clapping, trying to figure out the reason, Tae Eun looked at the door she just opened and realised that it was… the storeroom.

Laughing, Hyung Eun ran to the REAL door and opened it. ‘Ahh!! Beast-sunbaenim!’ Still laufy(?), Sooyeon and Tae Eun and Hyeyeon ran, or rather, staggered to the door and waved. They looked like 3 drunk people. Walking around the house, the Beast members became rather envious. ‘Hey, our first dorm wasn’t half as nice as their’s!!’

The apartment was sort of Cube Entertainment’s apartment. Nearly the entire building was occupied by Cube Entertainment’s entertainers and staffs. Beast stayed on the 7th floor, FTNW on the 8th floor, 4minute on the 9th floor, the dancers on the 4th and 5th floor, Beast’s manager on the 6th floor, FTNW’s manager on the 3rd floor, 4 minute’s manager on the 10th floor and their CEO on the 2nd floor.

Manager Onni looked at her watched and said,’ Omo!! It’s already 7pm!! You’re late for practice!! Hurry hurry into the van!!’

Heh. Decided to give up on previous fic cause too boring. Yawns. Starting new one ;D

It was so cold and the wind was blowing. HyunA’s hair began sticking to her mouth thanks to her lip gloss, irritated, she brushed her hair out of the way and shivered for the 100th time. Before she turned around to look at the glass door, she thought, Will those two ever stop talking? Pissed, she quickly turned around only to see those two laughing ever so happily.

Getting fedup, HyunA stood up and walked towards the glass door, deciding not to care about who was on the other side anymore. Just then, her cellphone vibrated. Taking it out of her pocket, she frowned at the unknown number and flipped her phone, putting it to her ear.

‘Hello?’

‘HyunA- sshi, we are calling from MBC. We’re the producers of ‘We Got Married’. Are you interested?’

While she was listening to the producers talking about the details, HyunA noticed that Taeyang had walked off to the other side of the room to answer a call. Not wanting to risk the chance, she quickly walked back into the dance studio.

Listening to the details, she thought about the offer. After all, she’d always wanted to be on WGM.

‘I’ll have to discuss with my manager first. But may I ask who I will be paired up with?’

‘Big Bang’s Taeyang. We’ve heard that you two are close, and everybody knows that you were his fan since young. Besides, you two are sunbae and hoobae. Issit alright with you?’

HyunA glanced around the room and found him, only to see him staring back at her.

‘Well, what was his reply?’

‘He said he doesn’t mind being on the show with you. Now all we need is your answer, we’ve already checked with your manager. She said it’s okay and we’ve fitted it into your schedule.’

What?! Manager Onni didn’t even ask me..’

Suddenly, everyone’s attention was focusing on the two.

Something feels wrong. Is there a hidden camera somewhere?

‘Uhm, hold on a minute. Let me talk to my Manager Onni.’

Pulling Kyuri, Sooyeon, Yoomi and Hyeyeon(their member who had been missing in action due to medical reasons) aside, HyunA told them what was going on.

‘Should I accept?’

With mischievous looks, they all say ‘Yes’ uniformly. Yoomi and Hyeyeon burst out laughing. HyunA just O.o-ed them and accepted the offer.

Suddenly, a whole crew burst into the dance studio. Two men grabbed Taeyang and pulled him out of the room, and two others grabbed HyunA.

Omg, are they coming to grab me? What are they doing?! Let go!!’

Instinctively, HyunA struggled. Though she seemed girly, when it came to things like this, she was actually quiet strong due to touch rugby. The two men actually problems dragging HyunA out of the dance studio and her screams got higher and higher.

Laughing, T.O.P, G-Dragon, Seungri and Daesung walked over and the four of them carried HyunA out of the dance studio. Shocked, HyunA immediately stopped struggling.

Are the Oppas going to sell me to India?!

They brought her to a huge limo and put her gently on the couch. HyunA tried to grab hold of G-Dragon’s arm but he wiggled himself free. ‘Oppa!!! Jing Yo Oppa!!’ Shocked and a little frightened, HyunA looked around the limo. Right opposite her was Taeyang.

The driver began driving, and beside the driver was another man, and beside HyunA was the camera man.

‘HyunA-sshi, please move over to sit beside Taeyang,’ said the guy beside the driver.

‘Y-y-yes sir.’ she stuttered and went over to sit beside Taeyang.

Hmmm, the uncle beside the driver.. his voice is familiar..

‘Hello and welcome to We Got Married. I’m am the PD and we are now heading off to your first date location.’

HyunA’s eyes and mouth all became an ‘O’ shape.. ‘WHAT?!!’ Taeyang just laughed. HyunA looked and him and suddenly felt embarrassed, then she looked at her feet. The PD said,’ Please sit closer to each other.’ Embarrassed, HyunA covered her face and blushed,’This is so embarrassing!!’

Shyly, with his eye smile plastered on his face, Taeyang moved closer to HyunA, leaving a 2cm gap between them. PD-nim said,’ Heyy!! I expect the two of you to be intimate by the time we reach the date location!’ The couple just blushed. Suddenly, Taeyang had a cheeky smile. He said to HyunA,’HyunA ahh, since we’re on WGM.. let’s act like a couple.’ PD-nim clapped and said in his weird accent,’Exactly!! That’s the spirit.’

The camera man began grinning like an idiot and HyunA felt a little grossed out by his smile. Feeling mischievous, HyunA said,’ Yes Oppa.. No I mean.. Yes DEEARRR,’ she exaggerated the word. Taeyang went on to say,’ Many people say that Jo Kwon and Gain are the most realistic and the cutest couple on WGM. Let’s beat them, shall we?’ He took her hand.

Grinning, HyunA said,’ Yes DEEARRR.’ Then she burst out laughing. She laughed so hard till she was short of breath. When she finally caught her breath, she said in between pants,’ This is so.. -pant- so – pant- Hahaha – pant- RIDI-pant- CULOUS!! It’s RIDICULOUSAHAHAHAHAHA!’ Hearing her laugh like that, Taeyang and the camera man and the PD and the driver all began laughing too.

Just then, the car stopped. They’d arrive at their first date location – Amusement Park.

The next day was pretty awkward. Soyeon was stamping her feet around the house, throwing tantrums but being the oldest, nobody could talk back to her. The worst thing was, she was making things especially difficult for HyunA.

First she asked HyunA to pour her a glass of water, then she chided HyunA for pouring room temperature water. ‘Are you trying to kill me with this room temperature water?! It’s winter and you pour me this type of water?! I want HOT WATER. HOT WATER, YOU GET IT?!’

HyunA, being the understanding magnae she always had been, spent the whole night trying to put herself in Soyeon’s shoes. After thinking for an entire night, she just couldn’t understand why Soyeon was putting the blame on her.

Patience does has it’s limits, and soon HyunA couldn’t take it anymore. Soyeon told her that the water was too hot, and on the way to the kitchen, HyunA changed her mind and decided to turn around to tell Soyeon off, whether she was older or not.

However, when HyunA turned around, she found herself staring at the face of Soyeon, and the cup filled with hot water, or rather, the empty cup, and the water all over Soyeon’s shirt.

Panicking, HyunA began apologizing profusely as Soyeon shrieked over and over again. Kyuri, who witnessed the scene, muttered under her breathe, Who told her to stand right behind HyunA, then she gave Soyeon a ‘-.-’ face.

That day, they only had two interviews. Manager-nim cancelled most of their major performances to let HyunA rest for one day. Just then, Sooyeon hit her forehead and said,’Oh I forgot to tell you guys, Manager-nim told me to inform you guys that we’re having our usual Christmas Celebration at YG studio tonight.’

-At night, during Christmas Celebration-

HyunA was feeling much better, almost as if she’d never been sick at all. She saw the familiar backview of her beloved CL. Almost as if it was the most natural thing to do, HyunA hugged CL from the back saying,’Chae Rin Onni!! I missed you sooo much!!’

Suddenly Park Bom appeared out of nowhere and pouted her lips saying,’ What about me? Didn’t you miss me?’ HyunA giggled and said,’OF COURSE I DID!’ and went to hug all the 2NE1 members. They had been in Japan for 2 weeks, and before that, their schedules and T-Minute’s schedules didn’t fit for them to meet for two whole months.

Just after she finished hugging Minzy, Big Bang arrived. G-Dragon walked into the room with a cheesy smile saying,’It’s G THE DRAGON!!!What about me? I want a hug too!’ Being very close to G-Dragon, HyunA gave him a hug too.

T.O.P of course walked in with his usual catchphrase, ‘OLE!’ and gave the T-Minute members a high-five. T-Minute was like the baby of YG, and being the magnae, of course HyunA was the baby of the entire company.

Seungri walked in with his sunglasses and HyunA ran over to him saying,’OPPA!!! WHY ARE YOU WEARING SUNGLASSES?!! ARE YOU TRYING TO ACT COOL?!!’

Seungri embarrassedly shushed HyunA, but trying to disturb him even further, HyunA said,’ Why are you making such funny noises? SHHUIII SHUEEE.’ Seungri began laughing out of embarrassment, and knowing when not to cross the line, HyunA laughed and said,’ Hee, I’m just joking, Oppa. Yes you look very cool and handsome with sunglasses!’

Next HyunA and Daesung greeted each other with their usual Meows – HyunA could never get over the funny fact that Daesung looks and sounds like a cat when he meows. Laughing, she walked to greet the next Big Bang member.

Awkwardness. HyunA was going to say hi to him, and so was he, but their eyes both turned in Soyeon’s direction, only to see her glaring at them both. Immediately, both of them turned their backs on each other and walked in the opposite direction.

Everybody was shocked. Silence immediately filled the room upon the sight of the two close friends walking away from each other. Depressed and not in the mood to lighten the atmosphere as she always did, HyunA grabbed her iPod and walked to the open air balcony.

She almost regretted immediately and turned around, but Taeyang try to talk to Soyeon on the other side of the glass door. She looked at the bench in the dance studio, only to see her jacket on the bench.

Wearing only 2 layers, HyunA sat on the wooden floor and shivered. Looking out at the night scenery, she took out her iPod and pressed ‘Play’. It was Avril Lavigne’s ’Innocence’. The words started and before she could change the song, she was too absorbed in her flashback already.

-Christmas Celebration two years ago-

HyunA was listening to music happily in the open air balcony. Suddenly she felt something around her shoulders. Looking up, she saw Taeyang putting a jacket around her shoulders,’Aren’t you cold?’ he said as he smiled and sat down beside her.

With their legs dangling, they watched the night scenery together. HyunA took out one side of her ear piece and put it in his ear. The iPod was on shuffle, but the song fit the mood exactly. ‘This innocence is brilliant, I hope that it will stay. This moment is perfect, please don’t go away. I need you now, and I’ll hold on to it, don’t you let it pass you by‘.

Biting her lip, wondering if Taeyang thought that she played this song on purpose, HyunA slowly turned to look at him. Noticing her turning to look at him, Taeyang turned to look at her also.

For a moment, they locked eyes. HyunA was trying to see what he was thinking, but before she could look into his eyes properly, he smiled his eye smile and his eyes were so small that HyunA gave up trying to read his feelings. Thinking about how ridiculous she was, HyunA laughed.

‘What are you laughing at?’

HyunA replied,’Not telling you. Hmph.’ With a triumphant look, HyunA turned away. ‘Why not? You michievous girl..’ Suddenly, she felt his hand on hers. Shocked, HyunA looked at him, eyes wide.

Looking at the stars in the sky, Taeyang said,’This moment.. really feels perfect, doesn’t it?’ Still in shock, HyunA didn’t say a word. He looked at her and reading her expression, he said with an amused voice,’Why are you so shocked that I’m holding your hand? Don’t you like me?’

Heart beating fast, HyunA only managed to reply,’Wh..what?’ softly.

‘Weren’t you a Big Bang fan since you were 13? Well, many fans want to hold my hand, and not many get the privilege. You better enjoy this while it lasts.’ Laughing, he twined his fingers with hers.

Mentally laughing at herself, HyunA thought, HyunA, for a moment you thought that he likes you. Stupid girl. He just treats you like a younger sister, that’s all. Stop reading too much into it. You should be happy that he treats you like one already.

Smiling, she looked up at the stars.

‘ I wonder what he’s gonna say to her…’ Yoomi chewed on her lower lip.

‘He’d better not hurt her. I hate Soyeon that bitch. We’ve put up with her for so long already and HyunA’s so nice to her, but she does this to HyunA? Bitch… And the worst part is that she knows that HyunA likes him so much!’ Kyuri sat on the bed and looked at the floor.

‘HyunA must be going through a very difficult period in her life now… But she’s only 17. No girl should go through such things at such a young age..’ Tears welled up in Kyuri’s eyes as she thought about what her sweet dongsaeng must be going through.

Yoomi put her arm around Kyuri’s shoulder and said,’ Don’t worry, let’s just pray. I’m sure that God will make things better.’

Sooyeon kept quiet, but in her head she was secretly praying for HyunA.

Taeyang sat down on the couch beside HyunA. There was an awkward silence between the two. Knowing him well, HyunA was already predicting what he was going to say. God, please don’t let him say it, she begged silently. Yet deep in her heart she knew that even if he didn’t say it, she had to distance herself from him anyway.

After all, Soyeon was her leader. And her career was first, not love. How could she break a promise she made to her Onni?

Taeyang took a big breathe and opened his mouth but sighed and closed it again. His eyes darted around furiously, like he was searching for what to say. Finally, he said softly,’ Sorry.’ It was so soft that HyunA wondered if she imagined it. Replying cautiously, she said,’About?’

He turned and looked at her. They made eye contact for a while, but both quickly looked away. Looking at the floor, Taeyang said,’ HyunA, I wished that things would never come to state but.. you know that Soyeon doesn’t like me being close to you right?’ He looked at her for a reply, but HyunA just looked away and kept quiet.

Please don’t let him say it, please don’t let him say it. She was repeating it over and over again. She felt as if a big stone was slowly crushing her heart. It was getting difficult to breathe. Suddenly, she felt his hand on hers and he tugged her hand gently as he said,’HyunA, please look at me.’ She could never resist him. Slowly, she turned her head and looked into his eyes.

Sincerity. Why must he always be so sincere? HyunA thought miserably. He looked into her eyes and said,’I'm sorry. But.. you.. you’re probably the closest female friend I will ever have. I know I’m being selfish now but.. you’re strong.’

You’re strong? How can he say such words with ease? She stared at him, waiting for him to continue. But he looked away and let go of her hand. Not being able to stand it any longer, HyunA said,’So? Get straight to the point please.’ The words were supposed to sound cold, but they came out like she was begging him instead.

Taeyang swallowed and muttered,’Soyeon needs me more than you do…’ Before she could stop herself, HyunA said,’What about you? Who do you need more?’ Oh shit, why did I say that? Of course the answer is Soyeon… HyunA blinked away her tears furiously.

‘Please don’t make me choose.. but.. but you know I’ve never had a girlfriend before. Please HyunA, be understanding… you know what I’m trying to say, don’t you? If I leave you, you’ll be able to cope with it, but you know your leader… she might do something foolish. You never stay angry at someone for more than 3 days.’

HyunA glared at him with tears brimming in her eyes,’So what do you want me to do? Give you my blessings?  Was it ever my choice anyway?’ She was still barely managing to prevent her flows from flowing down, but the minute he looked at her with hurt, she couldn’t glare at him any longer, and tears rolled down her cheeks.

Taeyang reached out to wipe away her tears but she pushed his hand away. Softly he said,’ I’m sorry, but I don’t think I’ll ever love a person more than I love Soyeon. But I also won’t ever have another friend as close to me as you are.. or were..’

He grabbed his jacket and just before he could walk to the door, HyunA whispered,’Oppa..’ He turned to look at her, but she still refused to look at him. With tears still streaming down her cheeks, she stared out of the window at the falling snow and said ‘ It’s okay if you want to forsake our friendship because of Onni, but as long as you’re happy, I’m willing to give up our friendship.’

‘Let’s not talk to each other anymore. Should we ever meet on the streets let’s pretend not to recognize each other. Like this it will be easier to forget our friendship. The last thing I want to say to you is, I love you and thanks for being a great friend. I won’t ever forget our memories together.’  It sounded dramatic, but HyunA’s words were oozing with sadness and sincerity.

Sadness filled the room, and Taeyang started tearing. As he closed the door, he prayed a silent prayer, God, please let me know that I did the right choice.

-Two Months ago…-

‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY JING YOOOOOOO!!’ HyunA screamed into G-Dragon’s ears. T.O.P walked into the room carrying a big paper bag saying with a cheesy smile,’OLE!!’ G-Dragon laughed and smiled happily. HyunA passed G-Dragon a present, asking him to open it. Like a little child, G-Dragon opened the present and smiled happily. He started reading it,’Pops English W- Wise?!’ He flipped through the pages looking confused.

HyunA laughed and said,’ It’s English.’ G-dragon looked up at her with a blur look, then he burst out laughing, covering his face with the book saying,’ AH English?!’ HyunA said,’ You’re just good at pronouncing your words, but you understanding of them sucks. HIYAAA KARATE CHOP!’ HyunA started massaging G-Dragon’s shoulders as if she was cutting sushi. G-Dragon laughed and said,’Karate chop?! Haha what’s wrong with her today?’

HyunA quickly ran away and went to talk to Seungri. Suddenly, the lights went out and a spotlight was focused in the centre of the restaurant. Taeyang was standing in the centre, as if getting ready to perform. Just then, the song ‘ So Beautiful’ started playing and Taeyang said,’ Tonight we have a performance for our very own G the Dragon! First up we have me and HyunA dancing to So Beautiful!!’

HyunA’s mouth and eyes opened big and she exclaimed,’Me?! I didn’t even practice!’ Taeyang smiled as he dragged her to the centre of the restaurant,’But you know it anyway, don’t you? Aren’t you a Big Bang fan?’ HyunA smiled cheekily and posed like a super model,’Of course, I’m such a loyal fan that I know most of Big Bang’s dances’ Taeyang playfully whacked HyunA’s head and said,’ Then start dancing!’

Together they danced ‘ So Beautiful’ with the rest of the YG staff plus 2NE1, Big Bang and T-Minute members laughing at Taeyang and HyunA’s terribly unorganised ‘Couple Dance’. It seemed more like a comedic act put up by Gag Concert people.

After the dance was over, HyunA was busy laughing at herself and so was everyone else. She looked at Taeyang who was smiling his ever so adorable eye smile, and they locked eyes for a few precious seconds. Those few seconds felt like one of the happiest moments of her life.

HyunA’s tears still didn’t stop. Will we ever laugh together like that again? Will we ever be so happy again? With memories flashing through her mind, HyunA gulped down her 7th glass of red wine.

That night, HyunA returned back to T-Minute’s dorm. Her headache was so bad, every step took effort. She opened the door and stumbled into the dorm. She thought she blacked out when every thing turned black, but soon she started wondering why fainting was so warm. The next thing she knew there was a firm grip on her arms pulling her onto her feet.

‘Are you okay?!’

HyunA opened her eyes and got a big shock. So she didn’t faint, and the ‘black out’ was actually Taeyang’s black hoodie. She started guessing that the warmness came from his chest. Looking up at him, she tried to stand up herself but her legs gave way, and she fell onto him again. She remembered that she had already promised Soyeon to stay away from him and gathering all her might, she pushed him away.

Of course, she wasn’t strong enough. All that effort to push just made her weaker, and her legs gave way completely. She was a hundred percent dependant on him or she would fall flat on her face. Just then, T-Minute opened the door and walked into the dorm. HyunA didn’t know what she and Taeyang looked like, but she guessed it looked like they were hugging each from the look on Soyeon’s face.

‘What are you two doing?!’ Soyeon exclaimed with her shrill voice.

Yoomi, Kyuri and Sooyeon saw that HyunA was weak and ignored Soyeon, pushing her aside and running to HyunA.

‘What’s wrong?!’

‘Are you okay?!’

Taeyang carried HyunA to the couch. Sooyeon took out her cellphone to call for an ambulance, but HyunA protested. ‘Don’t call an ambulance, there’s no need for that.’ Yoomi carried a glass of water over, and Kyuri dabbed her forehead with a wet towel gently. Gingerly, Taeyang touched her forehead and said,’ You’re hot.’ Mischievously, HyunA muttered,’ Yes I know I am.’ Taeyang frowned and said,’ How can you be joking at a time like this!’

HyunA smiled slightly and replied,’Well, what are you gonna do about it? You have to take care of me anyway, you’re the oldest here.’ She looked at him and smiled. She was feeling a lot better already. Just then, from the corner of her eye, she saw Soyeon glaring at her.

Soyeon said ,’ No need for you to take care of her. I’m the leader. I’ll take care of her.’ She turned to HyunA and her tone changed completely. Coldly, she said,’ What do you need? Panadol? Well, you better get well soon cause we’ve got a schedule tomorrow and you better not let anybody find out that you’re unwell.’ Soyeon stormed into her room and closed the door.

HyunA sighed and looked at Taeyang, who was looking worried. ‘Is she feeling unwell? I should go and talk to her…’ He walked off to convince Soyeon to open the door. Kyuri and Yoomi were looking fed up. Yoomi and Kyuri were mouthing to HyunA about how unreasonable Soyeon was, while Sooyeon kept quiet. She hated things like this.

Just then, Soyeon opened and door and yelled at Taeyang,’ Yea go care for her all you want!’ and slammed the door in his face again. Taeyang walked back to where the rest of the members were. Looking at the floor, he said to Yoomi, Kyuri and Sooyeon,’Will you guys please give HyunA and I a little privacy?’ When the members retreated into their rooms, Taeyang looked sadly into HyunA’s eyes and said,’ Hey, we need to talk.’
